Rabindranath Tagore is a Bengali writer, philosopher, music writer, thinker, and social leader. He was born in Kolkata, British India on May 8, 1861. He is widely known as ‘Gurudev’. He is the writer of the national anthem of Bangladeshand India both. Amar Sonar Bangla and Jana Gana Mana are the two songs that have been selected as two country’s national anthem.
He had been an award for Noble Literature Prize for his poem book Gitanjali in 1913. This book has been loved all across the world. He is the first Bengali who won Noble Prize. He was not interested in school and academic study and that’s why he was taught in the home.
He has too much interest in writing for a very young age. He wrote his first writing at a very early age. And then he has written enormous novels, short stories, and poems. He has composed thousands of Bengali and Hindi songs. There is a song genre as ‘Rabindra Sangeet’.
He was a social leader who guided the nation and the people. He was a thinker who thought and worked for the country. there are lots of important things to learn from his writings and his life.
