The father of Indian nation Mahatma Gandhi was born on 2nd October 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat. He was the biggest revolutionary leader against British Rule. His original name is Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. His mother’s name was Putlibai and she was a religious lady. His mother guided him to become an honest and decent kid. His wife’s name is Kasturba, and he was got married at 13 years old only. He went to England to study law at the age of 19. After completing his study in England he went to South Africa. He fought against injustice there.
He had believed in non-violent protesting against injustice. In 1914, he came back to India. Then the traveled entire India and fought against the British with the peaceful method. His fight forced English to back them to their country. On 30th January 1948, he was shot dead by a person named Nathuram Godse. Mahatma Gandhi is the person who had amazing control over his life. He spends a very simple life. There are lots of lessons that we can learn from his life. He sacrificed his entire life and fought to free the country from British Rule. We all call him Bapu.
