Recently I have visited Delhi airport. It is a very nice place to be. The official name of the airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport. This huge airport is one of the most important for the entire country. It is known as the hub of aviation here.
It has more than 5,106 acres of land, so you can imagine how big the area is. It is located in an area names Palam and it is almost 16 km away from the New Delhi city center. Before it was operated by the Indian Air Force, but now the operation has been transferred to the Airports Authority of India.
It is a hub for more than 8 air aviation companies in India. The entire place is very beautiful. Everybody loves the interior of the airport. It is one of the most beautiful in the country. It has three main terminals, and terminal 1 has three different sections.
Overall it is a complete and one of the best in the world too. When I arrived at the airport, I found the staffs are very friendly and the environment is very good. I loved my visit to the airport. It was really enjoyable.
