Paragraph on Population Problem in 200 Words
Population refers to the total number of beings living in a particular area. Naturally, the population is a blessing for a country. But it turns into a curse when it becomes more than in the proportion of its total area.
The growing population is one of the most burning problems. The world population is projected to reach 9.9 billion by 2050, an increase of more than 25% from the current 2020 population of 7.8 billion. It has produced all the present-day problems to a country such as Unemployment, Poverty, Pollution, Price Rise, Deforestation, etc. Overpopulation obstructs the progress of a country. It has caused the failure of our plans.
There are a lot of reasons for overpopulation such as illiteracy, poverty, child marriage, lack of knowledge, unemployment, rapid growth, better sex education, etc.
First of all, education should be spread out both in the rural and urban areas. Then awareness among young boys and girls should be increased about early marriage. Strict law may be enforced to ensure it. People have to be encouraged in birth control.
Secondly, the Government should take necessary action to remove poverty. Various programs of Family Planning may be arranged by Government and social organizations. People should also cooperate with it.
