A Dialogue between Two Friends on the Importance of Punctuality
Smith: Hey Bill, what’s going on dude?
Bill: It’s great, what about you?
Smith: Fine. So where are you going?
Bill: I am going to school and I am in a hurry.
Smith: Oh then do you still follow a routine?
Bill: Yes, I do. Because I think it is really important to become a punctual person. Keep walking, we can talk and walk together.
Smith: Yes, I also need to go to school, so keep walking. Why do you think someone should become punctual?
Bill: First of all it is a duty to attend everywhere at the right time. You can’t be early or can’t be late. If you are early, you might waste time and if you are late, then you might miss the reason that’s why you arrived.
Smith: I see. That makes sense.
Bill: You know time waits for none it just keeps going and flowing. If you are not using it in a good way then you have to regret sure.
Smith: What are some benefits?
Bill: First of all it helps us to build our self-confidence. It shows you to the other people as a dedicated and dependable person. And your trust in yourself keeps raising.
Smith: That’s true, I never thought like that.
Bill: You should and from today become punctual and it is going to help you a lot. If you are punctual and following a schedule then you will be able to save lots of time even after working or studying. In that leisure time, you can do lots of productive things.
Smith: Yeah, I think so. Thanks a lot, Bill, that was amazing talking to you and thanks again for your suggestions.
Bill: You are welcome Smith, see you later.
